BIOGRAPHY
After having been called to the Bar of Paris, France in 2008 and the District of Columbia Bar, Washington D.C., USA in 2006, Arnaud Rainfray was called to the Quebec Bar in 2009 and immediately joined the firm.

Before joining O’Brien, Me Rainfray practiced law in France as a member of an internationally reputed law firm.

AREAS OF PRACTICE
Me Rainfray practices business, commercial and corporate law, with an emphasis on business organisational structures, contracts and international law. Merger / Business purchase and sale transactions (with a particular expertise in the field of pharmacy), financing as well as the drafting and negotiation of commercial documents (shareholders’ agreements, service, distribution and licence agreements..) constitute the heart of his practice.

Me Rainfray’s clients include businesses of various sizes and startups from various industries. He helps them achieve their business goals and build with them a long-term trust-based relationship. He also advises businesses abroad wishing to expand their activities in Canada as well as Canadian companies seeking to develop their business abroad.

He also advises his clients as to the protection of their trademarks by assisting them in the registration process in Canada and in the US.

Bilingual, Arnaud Rainfray serves his clients in French and English.

ACTIVITIES
Me Rainfray is a member of the Chambre de commerce française au Canada, section Québec.

Chess player, Arnaud Rainfray regularly participates in chess tournaments and is recognized as« International Master » by the World Chess Federation, (FIDE).
